How to inspect pellet quality for feed factory
There is no unified standard for the determination of pellet feed quality at present.  In addition to the general quality of feed, the quality of pellet feed is generally considered to include the following aspects: sensory index, pulverization rate, hardness, moisture content, durability, bulk density and so on. For fish and shrimp feed, the water stability, water resistance, sedimentation and dissolution should also be determined.

Inspection on cooler
1. Temperature: after cooling the temperature of particles (generally for room temperature + 5 degrees) , through the detection of temperature here can find if cooler level adjustment is reasonable, cooler operation is normal.
2. Particle size: refers to the uniformity of the broken material, it can reflect whether the adjustment of the broken roller is normal, whether the roller is off-track phenomenon.
3, hardness: particle hardness is not high is the direct cause of the powder.

Inspection on packing section
1. Flour content: the percentage of 1.4 mm material after sifting
2. Heteromere: whether there are flower particles, mixed.

Inspection in lab
1. Moisture: use an infrared drying lamp to dry and detect moisture.
2. Use a pressure gauge to measure the hardness of the feed pellets.
3. Check the content of protein, fat and salt in feed.
