      G1iclazide (G1iclazide), chemically known as 1-(hexahydrocyclopentyl [C] pyrrole-2 (1H) -yl)-3-(4-methylphenyl) sulfonylurea, is the second generation of sulfonylurea oral hypoglycemic agents, which has dual effects of lowering blood glucose and improving blood coagulation function, and can not only improve the metabolism of diabetic patients, but also improve the metabolism of diabetic patients. Moreover, it can improve or delay the occurrence of diabetic vascular complications. Developed by French company Servier, it was first marketed in France in 1972 with the trade names of tamecan, metonylurea, dicyclocaride metonylurea, leke pancreas, metonylurea, and glicnassa. It is mainly used for mild and moderate type II diabetes mellitus without ketosis after the onset of adult with ineffective diet and exercise control alone. It can also improve the fundus lesions of diabetic patients and the disorder of metabolism and vascular function.
