1. This product is used as an alternative for penicillin allergic patients to treat the following infections: acute tonsillitis, acute pharyngitis and sinusitis caused by hemolytic streptococcus and Streptococcus pneumoniae; Scarlet fever and cellulitis caused by hemolytic streptococcus; Diphtheria and diphtheria carriers; Gas gangrene, anthrax and tetanus; Actinomycosis; Syphilis; Listeriosis, etc.
2. Legionella disease.
3. Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia.
4. Chlamydia pneumoniae pneumonia.
5. Urogenital infection caused by other chlamydia and mycoplasma.
6. Chlamydia trachomatis conjunctivitis.
7. Oral infection caused by anaerobic bacteria.
8. Campylobacter jejuni enteritis.
9. Whooping cough.
10. Recurrence of rheumatic fever, infective endocarditis (rheumatic heart disease, congenital heart disease, after heart valve replacement), prevention of oral or upper respiratory tract infection (alternative medication of penicillin).

Adverse reactions
1. Hepatotoxic reactions after taking this product are more common than taking other erythromycin preparations. Sometimes jaundice may occur, and the liver function test shows cholestasis, which can often be recovered after drug withdrawal.
2. Gastrointestinal reactions include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, middle and upper abdominal pain, tongue pain, decreased appetite, etc. The incidence is related to the dose.
3. High dose (≥ 4G / day), especially in patients with liver and kidney diseases or elderly patients, may cause hearing loss, which is mainly related to high blood drug concentration (] 12mg / L), and can be recovered after drug withdrawal.
4. Allergic reactions are drug fever, rash and eosinophilia, with an incidence of about 0.5% ~ 1%.
5. Others: occasional arrhythmia, oral or vaginal Candida infection.
Taboo:

Matters needing attention:
1. Alt, AST, AKP and bilirubin increase after taking this product is more common than taking other erythromycin preparations.

3. Patients with renal dysfunction generally do not need to reduce the dosage.
