Cetrik acetate is a kind of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist. This product competes with endogenous GnRH for receptors on pituitary cells, thus inhibiting the release of endogenous (LH) fschemicalbook, delaying the appearance of LH peak, and thus controlling ovulation.
