Microcrystalline cellulose is a purified, partially depolymerized cellulose, a white, odorless, tasteless, crystalline powder consisting of porous particles.




Application of Cellulose Product 
Use 1: filter aid: anticaking agent, binder; compatibilizer; fragmentation agent; dispersant; tissue improver; thickener; water quality treatment agent. EEC regulations are used for beer purification. GB 2760-96 stipulates as a processing aid. EEC-HACSG stipulates that it shall not be used in food for infants and young children.
Use 2: Suitable for textile, clothing, brewing, food, papermaking and other industries.
Use 3: Used as a binder and disintegrant for direct tablet compression, and also as a food additive.
Use 4: As an anti-caking agent, it can be used in powder flavor according to my country's regulations, the maximum use amount is 50g/kg; it can also be used for ice cream, the maximum use amount is 40g.kg; it can also be used for cream and non-dairy powder, the maximum use amount is 20.0 g/kg.
Use 5: anticaking agent; emulsifier; binder; fragmenting agent; dispersant; tissue improver; non-nutritive leavening agent; dietary fiber; turbidity stabilizer; heat stabilizer; fast drying carrier; microdispersant And tableting. According to EEC regulations, it can be used for high-fiber bread; low-calorie candies, biscuits, cakes and breads; fillers for pigments, spices and edible acids; dehydrated foods, snack foods and bionic fruit slices, etc.
Use 6: The hydroxyl group in the cellulose polymer undergoes esterification or etherification reaction, which can derive many useful products. The practically used cellulose esters are: cellulose nitrate, cellulose acetate, cellulose acetate butyrate and cellulose xanthate. Cellulose ethers include: methyl cellulose, carboxymethyl cellulose, ethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, cyanoethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose. In addition, there are ester ether mixed derivatives.
