966 Brass Union Tee For Air Brake
Application:
Being used with SAE J844 A and Type B nylon Tubing in air brake system, and in cab air controls.
Advantages:
Machined form CA360 brass.
Easy to assemble(no tube prepartion or flaring required). Built in tube support. Being used with copper tubing by replaceing nut, sleeve and insert with long nut and spherical sleeve. Insert should be removed for the copper use.
Specifications:
Meeting D.O.T. FMVSS 571.106 air brake specifications.
Meeting functional requirement of the SAE automotive tube fitting standards:SAE J246 and SAE J1131.
Working Pressure:150P.S.I.
Working Temperature:-40F to 200F(-40C to 93C)
Asembly Instruction:
1.cut tube to desired length
2.slide nut and then sleeve on tube, the threaded end of the nut facing toward the fitting body.
The tube O.D. will match the thread on the fitting as below chart.

1.Insert tube into the preassembled fitting, the tube should be bottomed in the fitting.
2.Tighten nut to require torque as indicated on chart.
