Caprylyl salicylic acid is an exfoliating, anti-inflammatory and anti-infective drug. It is used to treat the appearance of dry damaged skin, reduce dry patches/flaking, and restore skin flexibility. This means that it can not only peel off the top layer of the skin, but also penetrate deep into the epidermis, removing dead skin cells and excess oil that accumulates in pores.

Caprylyl salicylic acid is often used to treat blackheads, whiteheads and acne. However, its keratolytic ability is not the only reason it is often used to treat blemishes and hair loss. This ingredient also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, making it an ideal anti-acne ingredient. Because this ingredient requires a very low concentration to remove dead skin cells, remove deposits in pores, condition the skin, and calm inflamed skin, it is used in various cosmetics.

Caprylyl salicylic acid not only maintains the effect of salicylic acid in exfoliating aging keratin, but also enhances its affinity with skin cells, making it easier to penetrate into the stratum corneum. It can be used as an external ingredient in cosmetics to delay aging and treat blackheads.

Caprylyl salicylic acid is often used in moisturizers, cleansers, astringents/toners, anti-aging treatments, shampoos/conditioners, acne creams, and facial cleansers.

Adding amount: 0.2-1.0%

How to use: Put the product in the oil phase, heat it to 80°C to dissolve it, and then prepare a cream or lotion according to the conventional process.
