What is Aromasin?

It is a type of hormone therapy drug called an aromatase inhibitor and is used to treat breast cancer. It is only suitable for women who have had their menopause.
Aromasin belongs to a category and class of drugs known as aromatase inhibitors (AIs).
 
Aromasin is officially classified as a steroidal suicide Aromatase Inhibitor, and carries the ability to inhibit the aromatase enzyme, which is responsible for the production or conversion of test to estrogen. Aromasin has the ability to block aromatization, which in turn inhibits the production of estrogen
