(1). In the production of pesticides,  Salicylic acid can be used for synthesis of organic phosphorus pesticide Isocarbophos parathion, methyl isopropyl willow Phosphorus Intermediates isopropyl salicylate and Rodenticide warfarin, kill rats ether intermediate 4-hydroxy coumarin;

(2). in the pharmaceutical industry, salicylic acid except itself was used as antiseptics, also serves as an intermediate of acetyl salicylic acid (aspirin) and other drugs;

(3). Salicylic acid is also an important raw material, it can be used for dyes, spices, rubber and other industries.
