Application:
Cotton is extremely sensitive to thidiazuron. Generally, 4-12 hours after use, the ethylene produced in cotton increases significantly. At the same time, thidiazuron inhibits the conduction of auxin in plants and acts on the plant to promote plant growth. Cytokinin. This special mechanism of action does not interrupt the metabolism of the plant and ensures the normal maturation of the cotton boll.

After thidiazuron was sprayed, the cotton leaves lost luster and turned red, some of the leaves were slightly necrotic, and then fell off. These symptoms are caused by cotton metabolism and are similar to senescent cotton plants.

Climatic conditions have a significant impact on the defoliation of thidiazuron. Generally, the defoliation process is completed 2-3 weeks after application. If the climatic conditions are suitable (the minimum daily temperature is 15-20 degrees), this process Can be shortened to 5-8 days.

Thidiazuron has no systemic conduction effect. In order to ensure reliable efficacy, the liquid must be sprayed carefully and contact all cotton leaves as much as possible. The adjuvant can obviously increase the spreading performance of thidiazuron on cotton leaves, improve the penetration ability and improve the efficacy.
