Window profiles come in all sizes and colours, and in many different materials. Wood, PVC and aluminium have been the most widely used for decades. Aluminium has many advantages: it's resistant to rust and chemicals, it requires little maintenance, it's strong and thus unlikely to warp or shift, and it's less vulnerable to break-ins. Moreover, aluminium comes in almost any colour, has a long service life, ensures good acoustic insulation and can be completely recycled.

But only one  disadvantage over wood and PVC: its limited thermal insulation. So this is why the aluminium thermal break profile is developed, which greatly guarantee the energy saving. A thermal break is an insertion of an insulating material which interrupts the thermal transfer through an architectural aluminium profile.


Superhosue has deveoped aluminium thermal break profiles with different width of thermal insulating strips which can vary from 14.8mm to 65mm.
And Superhouse developes two different thermal lines, one is Super system,  SP100T, SP76T. SP 65T. U-value around 0.35 for general purpose use.
And the other one is  Star system in P80, which u-value can achieve 0.2-0.25, for ultimate thermal purpose.
