Features:
1. Urgent grease injection device: The valve could be provided with device for urgent grease injection, which are on both stem and seat for ball valves of DN>150mm, and in the body cavity for the valve of DN<125mm. When the O-ring of stem or body seat ring is damaged duo to accident, the medium leakage between body and stem can be prevented by injecting the sealing grease through the device.
2. Fire safe design: With the valve heated in a fire application, the non metal material parts such as seat sealing ring of PTFE, O ring for the stem, and sealing gasket for body and bonnet, may be damaged duo to high temperature. The specail design of auxiliary metal to metal or the graphite seal is provided for the trunnion ball valve to effectively prevent both internal and external leakage of the valve. As required by customers, the fire safe design for trunnion ball valve meets the requirement of API 607, API 6FA, BS6755 and JB/T6899.
3. Self-relief in the body cavity: As the liquid medium left in the cavity gasifies duo to increased temperature, the pressure in the body cavity becomes abnormally higher, when the medium itself in the cavity would propel the seat and self-relieves the pressure to ensure the safety of valve.
4. Anti-static feature: The ball gets close contact with each other through the trunnion, adjusting cushion, and down-end cap, the passage of static electricity forms together with the valve, which may lead the static electricity caused by sparks generated by friction between the ball and seat during on and off performance to the ground to prevent the possible risk of fire or explosion.
5. Double block and bleed function: In general, the trunnion mounted ball valve features the front ball sealing design structure, each side of the ball valve can seperately cut off the medium at both inlet and outlet of the valve to realize double-block functions. When the bal valve is closed, body cavity and two passages can be blocked with each other even if both the inlet and outlet are under pressure, the medium left in the body cavity might be bled through the relief valve.
6. Blow-out proof stem: Blow-out proof stem is provided for the stem, which is positioned by the up-end cap and screw, being guaranteed not to be blown out by the medium even if at abnormal risen pressure in the cavity.
Ball Valves Features:
1. Small fluid resistance, ball valve is one of the smallest fluid resistance in all kinds of valves, even if it is a reducing ball valve, its fluid resistance is also quite small.
2. The thrust bearing reduces the friction torque of the valve rod, which can make the long-term operation of the valve rod stable and flexible.
3. The sealing performance of the valve seat is good. The sealing ring made of elastic materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene is easy to seal, and the sealing capacity of the ball valve increases with the increase of the medium pressure.
4. The valve rod seal is reliable. Because the valve rod only rotates as if without lifting movement, the packing seal of the valve rod is not easy to be damaged, and the sealing capacity increases with the increase of the medium pressure.
5. As PTFE and other materials have good self-lubricating property and small friction loss with the ball, the service life of the ball valve is long.
6. The bottom mounted valve rod and the convex step at the head of the valve rod can prevent the valve rod from ejecting. If the fire causes damage to the valve rod seal, metal contact can also be formed between the convex step and the valve body to ensure the valve rod seal.
7. Anti static function: a spring is set between the ball, the valve rod and the valve body, which can lead out the static electricity generated in the switching process.
