[Drug name] Generic name: Acetaminophen tablets

Chinese pinyin: ParacetamolTablets

Ingredients Each tablet of this product contains 0.3 grams of paracetamol, the main ingredient. Auxiliary family is starch, colloidal starch, polyvinylpyrrolidone, stearic acid, talcum powder, potassium sorbate, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, triglyceride triacetate.

Properties This product is film coated tablet, after removing the coating, it appears white.

Indications: Used for fever caused by the common cold or influenza, and also for the relief of mild to moderate pain such as headache, joint pain, migraine, toothache, muscle pain, neuralgia, dyspenorrhea.

[Usage and dosage] Oral administration. Children 4-6 years old, 0.5 tablets per time; Children 7 to 12 years old, 1 tablet at a time, children over 12 years old and adults 1 to 2 tablets at a time, if persistent fever or pain, can be repeated every 4 to 6 hours, not more than 4 times within 24 hours.

[Adverse reactions] Rash, urticaria, drug fever and granulocytopenia are occasionally seen. Long-term, heavy drug use can lead to abnormal liver and kidney function.

[Contraindications] Severe liver and kidney insufficiency is forbidden.

This product is a symptomatic treatment, used for antipyretic for no more than 3 days, used for pain relief for no more than 5 days, if the symptoms are not relieved, please consult a physician or pharmacist. 2. People allergic to aspirin should use it with caution. 3. Do not take other medicines containing antipyretics and analgesics (such as some combination anti-cold medicines) at the same time. 4. Do not drink alcohol or alcoholic beverages while taking this product. 7. People who are allergic to this product should not use it, and people who are allergic should use it with caution. 8. This product can be secreted through the placenta and in the milk, so it is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women.

Due to the decrease of liver and kidney function in elderly patients, the half-life of this product is extended, and adverse reactions are easy to occur.

1. Long-term use of this product may cause liver damage in patients using barbiturates (e.g., phenobarbital) or spasmodyls (e.g., belladonia). 2. Taken together with chloramphenicol, this product can enhance the toxicity of the latter. 3. Drug interactions may occur if used together with other drugs. For details, please consult your physician or pharmacist. 4. Long-term, regular daily use of acetaminophen may enhance the anticoagulant effects of warfarin and other coumarins, thereby increasing the risk of bleeding; Occasional use had no significant effect.
