Peptide-18/Leuphasyl is a new wrinkle polypeptide. In vitro mimicking the natural enkephalin mechanism:
in addition to nerve cells, binding to enkephalin receptors, ligands binding to receptors, conformational changes initiate intracellular cascades, leading to decreased excitability:

Function of pentapeptide-18

Mechanism of action - pentapeptide-18 /leuphasyl

Pentapeptide-18 is a modified enkephalin that binds to extracellular and enkephalin receptors and releases
the G protein group (a, β, v). Thus, the calcium channel is closed, the vesicles are unable to fuse, and
the release of acetylcholine is blocked and the neurons are in a non-excited state. Therefore, muscle
contraction is weakened to prevent the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.
It has anti-wrinkle effect and makes skin smooth and moist.
