Product introduction:

HBSS buffer, Hank's Balanced Salt Solution, is one of the commonly used phosphate buffers in cell separation or culture. The main components are NaCl, KCl, KH2PO4, Na2HPO4, NaHCO3 and glucose, which have the functions of maintaining osmotic pressure, maintaining pH stability, and providing simple nutrition. It can be used for rinsing tissue blocks, organs or cells, transporting cells or tissues in in vitro experiments, Preparation of reagents for cell culture and as a diluent for cell counting. Calcium, magnesium ion and phnol red indicator can be added as needed.

This product is sterilized by 0.1 μm filter, pH 7.2-7.5@25ºC, contains calcium and magnesium ions, and contains phnol red indicator. Please refer to the product formula table on the official website for the specific content of each ingredient.


Storage and transportation:

Transport at room temperature; store at room temperature, valid for 18 months.


Precautions:

1. This product is sterilized through a 0.1 μm filter membrane and can be used directly.

2. Please pay attention to aseptic operation when using this product to avoid contamination.

3. This product contains calcium and magnesium ions, which are prone to micro-precipitation, which can be dissolved in a warm water bath. If there is a lot of precipitation that cannot be dissolved, please stop using it.

4. Hank's balanced salt solution cannot be used in a 5% CO2 culture environment. If placed in a CO2 incubator, the solution will quickly become acidic.
