HBSS, namely Hank's Balanced Solution contains calcium ions and magnesium ions. Hank's Balanced Salt Solution (HBSS) is used with for variety of cell culture applications, such as washing cells before dissociation, transporting cells or tissue samples, diluting cells for counting, and preparing reagents. 


Product features:
1. The HBSS has been sterilized by using 0.1μm filtration membrane, therefore, it can be used directly.
2. The HBSS has the functions of maintaining osmotic pressure, maintaining pH stability, and providing simple nutrition. It can be used for rinsing tissue blocks, organs or cells, transportation of cells or tissues, preparation of reagents for cell culture, and as a diluent for cell counting in in vitro experiments. 
3. The HBSS contains calcium magnesium ion, but does not contains  red.

This HBSS is only used for scientific research, not for diagnosis and treatment.

Usage tips:
1. Pay attention to aseptic operation when using this product to avoid contamination. If the solution appears turbid, stop using it.
2. This product contains calcium and magnesium ions, which are prone to micro-precipitation, which can be dissolved in a warm water bath. If there is a lot of precipitation that cannot be dissolved, please stop using it.
3. Hank's balanced salt solution cannot be used in a 5% CO2 culture environment. If placed in a CO2 incubator, the solution will quickly become acidic. Please pay attention when using it.
