Description:

Lunhuan Tengning, whose chemical name is 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane, is an organic synthesis intermediate, especially a precursor compound for the synthesis of metal ion macrocyclic chelating agents. For example, Lun Huan Teng Ning is used to synthesize the contrast agent gadobutrol to perform MRI imaging of the brain and spinal cord to accurately determine the exact location of tumors and other lesions. There is great potential in the field of medical research.

Usage:

Macrocyclic aza analogue of the crown ether 12-crown-4. Cyclen compounds are capable of selectively binding cations and are used as a ligand with chemicals used in MRI contrast (as well ass other imaging) agents.
