Shitai is located in the south of China Anhui Province, between two famous mountains, Huangshan Mountain and Jiuhua Mountain. The 30° north latitude line crosses it. Shitai is a humid monsoon climate zone in the middle subtropical region, with four distinct seasons, mild climate and abundant rainfall.Temperature, humidity and sunshine conditions are very suitable for tea growth.The highest peak in the region is 1375 meters above sea level, and the average altitude of the tea gardens is 500 to 1000 meters. The vertical landform features are obvious, and the tea gardens are covered by fog all the year round. The geographical environment of the tea gardens is closed and the ecological conditions are excellent.
In terms of soil, the soil layer in Shitai region is medium, with medium content of organic value, acidic or slightly acidic reaction, rich in humus and high content of selenium.
