Description:

A white crystalline powder or granules. In the dry state it is reasonably stable in air, but in solution it deteriorates in the presence of air. Erythorbic acid has better antioxidant than that of ascorbic acid and it is with cheaper price.

Usage:
Erythorbic acid is a food antioxidant used predominantly in meats, fish products and frozen products. As an antioxidant structurally related to ascorbic acid, it helps improve flavor stability and prevents the formation of carcinogenic nitrosamines.
