This modifier series products are new neotype Compound modifier which is made by optimizing compound active elements on the base of Yttrium-based Heavy Rare-earth which has an extremely strong capacity of modification and purifying molten iron.

I. Characteristics of the product

1. It has reletively strong capacity of purifying grain-boundary,reducing the amount of harmful elements in grain-boundary and segregation mingled in it, improving the shape, size and distribution of impurities, it can reduce stress concentration and cracking source correspondingly, improve the bonding strength of grain-boundary and achieve the effect of strengthening grain-boundary, therefore improve the endurance and ductility of the material.

2. Various kinds of active elements contained in the Modifier have the effect of solution strengthening. Also it can form high hardness, high strength, small and dispersing carbides and intergranular compound particle, so it has the effect of dispersion strengthening, therefore improve the competence of abrasion resistance.

3. It can improve the shape and distribution of carbides, refine and crush carbides, so carbides tend to change from mesh, bone-like distribution to island-like, massive, granular uniform distribution. Also it can reduce the risk of rendering matrix, promote heat treatment granulation of the eutectic carbide, simplify the heat treatment process and therefore improve the overall performance of the material.

4. Combined with the user's actual melting and heat treatment, the castings impact value can be increased by more than 20% average and abrasion resistance by 20 to 30% by using this Modifier.

III. How to use:

1.We mainly adopt ladle pour-over process; Put the modifier at the outside bottom of the ladle. After thorough eventual deoxidation, put the liquid steel into the ladle. In order to prevent modifier from floating, you can cover the ladle properly. 

2. Packaging: packaged in liner double-layer plastic-woven bags, 25kg/ bag ;

3. Granularity: Standard granularity is 1-10mm, and it can also be processed according to customer requirements;
