Ammonium sulphate
Molecular Formula: (NH4)2SO4
Molecular Weight: 132.13
Property
Ammonium Sulphate is water-soluble efficient nitrogen fertilizer. Its nitrogen is more than 21.0% and contains the medium S element which the growing crops need. With its nitrogen in ammonic form and its high sulfur content, ammonium sulphate is one of the favorite fertilizers. It makes crops thrive and improves fruit quality, increases yield, and enhances resistance to disaster, can be used for common soil and plant such as paddy, wheat, corns, jowar, cotton, melon, vegetables and fruit trees.

For specific application rates follow the recommendation of a qualified individual or institution.
Note:
Long-term separate application causes soil acidification, deteriorate soil structure.
Apply small amount each time on sandy soil to reduce leaching, deep placement when apply in water field and calcareous soils, deeper when apply on dry land.
Mixing with lime, plant ash and other alkaline fertilizers causes ammonia volatilization.
