COMPOSITION:

DESCRIPTION:
This product is a pale yellow transparent oily liquid.
FUNCTION AND USE:
It can promote the development of secondary sexual signs and the formation of sexual organs for female animals, enhance the function of contraction for uteruses and oviducts, increase the sensitivity of uteruses to oxytocin, and promote the relaxation of cervical orifices. It is able to promote the development of mammary duct systems. With a small amount of progesterone, it can prompt female animals to have sexual desire and sexual excitement. This product is widely applied in retained fetal membranes, endometritis, and uterine pyometra after delivery for female animals. It also can be used for weak uterine muscles when cooperatively used with oxytocin. In addition, it is applied in the development process of mammary glands in the induction of lactation for cows.
USAGE AND DOSAGE:
1. Cooperatively used with Pregnant Mare Serum Gonadotropin to make estrous signs obvious during promoting estrus: in order to facilitate the detection of estrus and make estrous signs obvious when Pregnant Mare Serum Gonadotropin is applied to promote estrus, intramuscular injection of 6-8mg of estradiol benzoate can be implemented on the second day after using Pregnant Mare Serum Gonadotropin.
2. Improving the sensitivity of uterine muscles to oxytocin: The application of estrogen in the process of childbirth can not only promote the opening of cervical orifices but increase the sensitivity of uterine muscles to oxytocin. Before the injection of oxytocin, estradiol benzoate shall be injected, and the dosing is as follows: 3-10 mg(to use this product 3-10ml)for pigs, 5-20mg(to use this product 5-20ml) for cattle, 10-20mg(to use this product 10-20ml) for horses, 1-3 mg(to use this product 1-3ml)for sheep, 0.5-2.0mg (to use this product 0.5-2.0ml)for dogs and 0.2-0.5mg (to use this product 0.2-0.5ml)for cats.
3. Treatment of uterine diseases: it can treat endometritis, uterine inertia (sub involution of the uterus), and retained fetal membranes after delivery when cooperatively used with oxytocin. Estradiol shall be injected first (20-30mg for big livestock, 10-20mg for middle-sized livestock and 5-10mg for small animals), and then oxytocin shall be used for treatment (75-100IU for cattle and horses, 30-50IU for pigs and sheep, 10-25IU for dogs and 5-10IU for cats); intramuscular injection or intrauterine injection shall be applied, once every 7 days.
4. Promoting estrus: high doses of estradiol benzoate can be used to promote estrus for clinical anoestrus animals; however, the estrus of this time usually can't give rise to the normal development of follicle to ovulate, but normalize the estrus cycle. The dosing is as follows: 10-20mg for cattle and horses; 5-10mg for pigs; 3-5mg for sheep.
CAUTION:
1. High doses, long-term or inappropriate use of this product may cause ovarian cysts, abortion, ovarian atrophy, and sexual cycle arrest for female animals.
2. Contraindicated in food animals.
3. Only used for animal reproduction.
4. Should not be touched by children.
