Character :  White crystalline powder , odorless . It is slightly soluble in ethanol or trichloromethane, almost slightly soluble in water, almost insoluble in ethyl ether, and soluble in potassium hydroxide solution or ammonia solution.
Indication :  It is used for bronchial asthma, acute bronchitis, asthmatic bronchitis, obstructive pulmonary emphysema and so on, so as to relieve wheezing symptoms. It also applied chronic bronchitis and emphysema associated with symptoms of bronchial spasm.
