Low coefficient of friction may cause conveyor belt slippage and lead to more wear of the belt and belt tracking problem.
 
Rubber pulley lagging can reduce slippage and extend service life of conveyor belt.

Ceramic lining for pulley is designed and suited for conveyor pulleys, such as conveyor drive pulley, where slippage and wea problems make normal rubber lagging ineffective. The alumina ceramic tiles help in proper grip of the conveyor belt under wet, muddy or any other such arduous conditions.
