What is THYMULIN ?

Thymulin is a synthesized by the organ called the thymus. Thymulin primarily serves to generate the development or "education" of certain cells produced by the bone marrow that are active in the body's defense system, called T-lymphocytes. 
Thymulin is notably involved in making these cells develop from their non-functional state, in which they arrive in the thymus, to fully-acquired function defensive cells, called immunocompetent. 
Thymulin is only one of the different H secreted by this gland, which are produced in vastly smaller amounts after the second year of life
