Higher temperatures and high tin content solders, common in lead-free solder processes, place additional strain on soldering iron tips. The long life of a  JNL solder iron tip reduces tip changes, decreasing the total number of tips used and decreasing production time.
Rapid-Heat Recovery: JNL soldering tips are constructed from highly conductive premium grade copper to transmit heat to the work more quickly than other brands. This quick heat recovery enables more joints to be soldered per minute, thus reducing manufacturing time and costs.

JNL soldering tips are available in a wide variety of geometries including pointed / conical, blade/knife, chisel/screwdriver, and bevel. Tip Cleaning Notes:

* If the sponge cleaner is utilized, air-blow cleaning is normally not required.

Some applications require air-blow & sponge tip cleaning (depending upon tip type)
The standard cleaning duration is 0.5 second
The iron tip does not need to be extended if not required
The air-blow cup is not included with the standard Luna system

* If the tip is not "wetting" with solder (oxidation)

Remove pre-solder on tip completely.
Remove oxidation by sand paper after cooling down the iron tip to room temperature.
Turn on the power and apply solder on the iron tip during rising the temperature (manually).
The tip will wet with solder by the above process.
