[Indications/Functions] Suitable for respiratory syncytial virus caused by viral pneumonia and bronchitis, skin herpes virus infection.

[Usage and dosage] Oral administration. 1. Viral respiratory tract infection: adults 0.15g once, 3 times a day, the course of treatment for 7 days. 2. Skin herpes virus infection: adults 0.3g once, 3 times a day, the course of treatment for 7 days. 3. Children should take 10mg/kg per day for 4 times for 7 days.



[Adverse reactions] Common adverse reactions include anemia, fatigue, etc., which disappear after drug withdrawal. Less common adverse reactions include fatigue, headache, insomnia, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, mild diarrhea, constipation, etc., and may cause the decrease of red blood cells, white blood cells and hemoglobin.



[Forbidden] People allergic to this product and pregnant women are forbidden.

1. Pharmacological broad-spectrum antivirals. It can inhibit the growth of respiratory syncytial virus, influenza virus, hepatitis A virus, adenovirus and other viruses in vitro, but its mechanism is not completely clear. This product does not change the virus adsorption, invasion and peeling, and does not induce interferon production. Drugs enter the cells infected by the virus rapidly phosphorylation and its product as competitive inhibitors of virus synthetase, inhibition of inosine monosodium phosphate dehydrogenase, influenza virus RNA polymerase and mRNA guanosine transferase, causing cell guanosine triphosphate, damage the virus RNA and protein synthesis, inhibition of viral replication and spread. Respiratory syncytial virus may also have an immune and neutralizing antibody effect. 2. Toxicological animal experiments showed that this product could induce benign tumors of breast, pancreas, pituitary gland and adrenal gland, but the carcinogenicity of human body was not confirmed. In animals such as hamsters, the drug can cause deformities of the head, palate, eyes, jaw, bone and gastrointestinal tract, and reduce the survival of offspring. However, primate experiments have not found any effect of the drug on the fetus. Mice, rats, and monkeys were given oral ribavirin at 30, 36, and 120mg/kg, respectively, or over 4 weeks (equivalent to human doses: 4.8, 12.3, and 111.4mg/kg in children weighing 5kg, or 2.5, 5.1, and 40mg/kg in adults weighing 60kg), causing heart damage.
