Our Open cup flash point apparatus is an manual instrument for testing flash point of petroleum product and bituminous materials. It can measure the temperature at which a material vaporizes, forming an ignitable mixture. All-in-one chassis design is compact, light-weight and features a premium exterior design. 


1. Main Introduction:
Open cup flash point apparatus is designed and made as per ASTM D92. It is used to determine the flash point of petroleum products and bituminous materials expect fuel oils whose flash point is lower than 79 ºC

1Power supplyAC(220±10%)V, 50Hz.
2Heating deviceElectric furnace heating, no naked fire, explosion prevented.The power is adjustable from 0W to 600W. The max heating temperature can reach 400ºC
3Temperature controlSingle chip microcomputer.The heating rate can meet requirements of standards GB/T 3536-2008 and ASTM D92
4Temperature displayLCD shows temperature parameters. 
The display range is 0ºC~400ºC, display accuracy is 0.1ºC
5Flash point detecting deviceIt applies the test flame automatically

2. Main technical features
1) English man-machine interface.The heating device is continuously adjustable.Easy to set parameters.

2) The LCD screen has prompt menu.  It shows set parameters and real-time display sample temperature and other parameters. Press the record key when flash point appearing. The screen will display and save flash point value.

4) It is equipped with wind-shelter and flame extinguishing cover which are accord with requirements of test.
  1. Operator only need to observe the flash point appearing.
