Mobile Small River Gravel Rotary Trommel Screen with CE Certification
Alluvial Gold treatment plant
Gravity separation also called gravity concentration, which is a mineral processing method for separating minerals according to different mineral densities.
The first stage in alluvial gold mining is to take the dredged river bed material and separate the small sand faction from the larger mineral fraction.
In a typical alluvial mining process physical separation methods such as screening and gravity separation are employed to separate the gold from the mineral fraction.
For alluvial gold ore, we do not need to crush and grind the ore. The general processing flow is usually:
1st. Screening and washing (trommel screen). We always use the trommel screen to wash the raw ore and remove the barren rocks and gravels.
2nd. Enriching (Gravity separation equipment). The gravity separation equipment such as the centrifugal concentrator, spiral chute, jig machine, are always applied at this process to enrich the heavy minerals.
3rd. Roughing, scavenging, and cleaning. We usually apply the shaking table for concentration after the 2nd step.
4th. Refinery. We could use the gold melting furnace to smelt the gold sand into shape lastly.

Trommel screen provides a simple, efficient and economical solution to upgrade a wide range of material and optimize the subsequent process steps of recovery. This method of screening helps to reduce operating and investment cost and to increase product quality, while allowing rapid and large volume processing.
Trommel screens are constructed of high quality material, designed for high performance, high production rates, lower operating costs and lower maintenance.
This material is then passed on to the downstream process equipment which can be in various forms such as centrifugal Concentrator, spirals, jigs etc.
After the materials are fed into the drum, the materials are classified, while the bigger materials flow forward along the inclination of drum and was classified through different mesh screens gradually. Classified small materials fell into respective bunker, and are delivered into finished product stack through manpower or belt conveyor.
