Nilaparib is a polyadenosine diphosphate ribose polymerase inhibitor, which inhibits DNA repair. Its active component is free alkali, stable composition is a molecule containing water of crystallization of p-toluene sulfonic acid salt or effective component for niraparibtosylatemonohydrate hydrochloride. 

It is mainly used for the treatment of recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, primary peritoneal cancer, and maintenance treatment of adult patients who have fully or partially responded to platinum chemotherapy drugs.
