The R076 type full-protection ballistic lifesaving jacket is a kind of soft body armor which provides double function in water--bulletproof and lifesaving. This high-tech jacket is specially designed for customs, frontier defense, Navy, Marine Police, and coast guards who have higher possibility of wetting their clothing or drop into the ocean than the common soldiers who have to protect only against bullets.
This type full-protection ballistic lifesaving jacket maintains good bulletproof performance to as high as NIJ 0101.06 standard level IIIA even in wet conditions. Moreover, it can against various kinds of machine guns such as AK47, M14, M16, M80 and 56 type semi-automatic when it is in conjunction with the level III ceramic plates, and also can against AP bullets fired by rifles such as M2 with the level IV ceramic plates. Meanwhile, the jacket has enough buoyancy to lift a person with 150kg weight even after being shot by the bullets, thereby protecting the wearer when in danger at sea.
