Anchor Winches
Our Marine anchor winches simply exceed the requirements of the most important classification societies.
Our range includes chain diameters from 17.5 to 114 millimetres. Every anchor winch can be supplied with remote control,
remote anchor drop and/or chain-length counter. There are many other options too; we would be pleased to hear your requirements.
If you require additional safety then combine our anchor winches with our ratchet roller chain stopper that automatically stops the chain in the event of accidental slip.
Anchor winches can also be supplied as capstan.
the anchor mooring winch is designed and adapted to the customer's wishes and, of course, based on the different classification rules.
Therefore, standard drums are seldom used by THR. When polypropylene or equivalent rope material is applied, the drum will be split in a storage and operating part as standard.
The combined anchor mooring winch has a positive effect in the weight of the complete anchoring and mooring configuration.
The combined winch requires one gearbox and one drive only.
On small foreships it may be possible to combine both anchoring and mooring of the port side and starboard winches into a single winch unit.
This may be achieved with the restriction that the hawser pipes have a certain distance from each other.
Besides that, the chains have to enter the chain locker and hawserpipe at a certain angle.
Since the closed foundation is normally included, installation of our anchor mooring winch is al simple task for the shipyard.
The anchor mooring winch can be equipped with a self tensioning device only for mooring operations.

Anchor & Mooring Capstans,
our marine is able to supply anchor capstans, mooring capstans and a combination of both.
Anchor capstans
we supply an anchor capstan for a wide variety of anchor chain. Anchor capstans can be delivered with electric as well as hydraulic drives.
The chain wheel can be operated by means of a hand wheel what is mounted on the topside of the capstan.
As an option also a warping head can be delivered in combination with this anchor capstan.
Anchor capstans are equipped with a horizontal band brake with the brake fitted to the gearbox.
Mooring capstans
our electric or hydraulic capstans are characterized by their compact shape. The warping head is built on top of a round pedestal.
Either the electric or hydraulic system is built in this pedestal, so the components will be under deck.
Within a certain range the operation height of the capstan can be adjusted to meet the practical requirements.
The electric capstan can be delivered with a one, two or three speed electro motor.
The advantage of the stepless control of the warping head can be achieved with hydraulic or frequency driven capstans.
