The structure of Opto-electronic hybrid cable is installing Single-mode/multimode fibres into loose tubes that are made of high-modulus plastic and filled with tube filling compound. In the center of cable is a metallic strength member.In the center of the cable is a non-metallic reinforcing core. For some cores, a non-metallic reinforcing core is required to be extruded with a layer of polyethylene. The loose tube and the insulated copper wire of the required size are twisted around the central reinforcing core to form a compact circular core, and the core is filled with water-blocking compounds. The double-sided chrome-plated plastic coated steel strip (PSP) is embossed longitudinally and extruded into a polyethylene sheath to form a cable.
