     Diclofenac reduces the synthesis of prostaglandin mainly by inhibiting the activity of cyclooxygenase, and plays the role of antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anti-rheumatic. Its anti-inflammatory effect is stronger than aspirin, acetaminophen and indomethacin. Its analgesic effect is similar to that of 100 mg pethi dine or 10 mg mor phine, and is 2~2.5 times that of indometacin and 26~50 times that of aspirin. The effect of the drug lasts for a long time. It can relieve joint pain and swelling and improve joint activity.
     Studies have shown that diclofenac can significantly reduce the levels of serum inflammatory factors in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
