OLT-GX3900 is a medium-capacity modular plug-in local OLT in GX3000 series of EPON and 10G EPON products. It is connected with diversified terminals, such as remote ONU and MDU of ONU-GM2000 series, residential gateway, etc., via optical fiber and a passive optical splitter (ODN) to form an access network system of a passive optic network; Thus, it satisfies the access requirement of the optical fiber for the access network; Compared with a traditional access network, it satisfies the access requirement of high bandwidth and the requirement of multi-service access. It is mainly applied to solutions of access network integrated services of FTTH, FTTB, FTTC, FTTO, FTTP, etc.
GX3900 supports a maximum of 12 PON service slots; Each PON service unit board supports 4/8/12 PONs and supports a maximum of 144 PON optical interfaces; A maximum of 9216 ONU terminals can be accessed on the remote end; GX3900 as a high-bandwidth multi-service access network platform can provide abundant service access capabilities of broadband, voice, CATV/IPTV, etc. It is designed in a telecommunication-level modular structure. It supports the configuration of double main control exchanges and double power supplies, can be flexibly configured and expanded according to users' requirements, and also supports continuous upgrade of the services.

Networking Application
OLT- GX3900 can be connected with ONU-GM2000 serial remote device (ONU) via a passive optic network (ODN) formed by optical fiber and a passive optical splitter (POS). GX3900 can be set in a central office for providing multiple users with multi-service access of broadband, traditional voice/NGN (VoIP) voice, CATV/IPTV, TDM special line, etc., on one optical fiber, so as to achieve solutions of FTTB/FTTP/FTTH, etc.
