Tinplate (also known as tinplate) refers to the cold-rolled steel sheet with a layer of very thin metal tin on both sides. It integrates the hardness and strength of steel with the weldability, corrosion resistance and bright appearance of tin. Tinplate has the advantages of tasteless, non-toxic, light weight and easy processing. Printing different patterns can also beautify products, so it has been widely used in food canning industry, electronic devices, chemical paint and other industries. In the production process of tinplate, after the strip steel is tinned and melted, the tinplate shall be passivated in order to prevent the tin layer from oxidation and yellowing during storage or coating baking, and improve the sulfur resistance of the tinplate.
