  1. High performance: Externally modulated technology, no laser chirp, low dispersion distortion, high extinction ratio, with excellent characteristic within 40~862MHz.
  2. 1+1 powers supply back , up hot-plug function available.
  3. Narrow bandwidth (0.65MHz), lower noise, DFB continuous wave laser, is propitious to reduce the influence of the dispersion.
  4. The operating bandwidth is up to 47~1080MHz.
  5. CNR ≥ 53dB and excellent CTB, CSO index.
  6. SBS: 13~18dBm adjustable.
  7. ITU standard wavelength, ±200GHz (±1.6nm) adjustable.
  8. AGC/MGC mode is optional at spot. OMI can be optimized at spot.

  • Summary:
When ST15xx fiber optical transmitter is applied in the multi-channel transmission, the laser's chirp effect will react
with the link dispersion of the fiber. There will be distortion on the receiver. If working with the EDFA, there will be
serious CSO deterioration. The distortion and deterioration will increase with the longer distance and more channels.
1550nm internal modulation CATV optic transmitter, has the chirp and dispersion compensation inside, and improves
the system index greatly. It can be used in the town where the fund is shortage and the distance is less than 10Km as a transition solution.

 

  • Test Condition :

Test link path is formed of standard fiber and standard optical receiver. Under the condition of prescriptive link loss,

 laser transmitter modulation depth of each channel being 3.6%, set 59 PAL-D simulative TV channels signal at 47~550MHz

and 33 QAM64 digital modulated signal at the range of 550~750(862) MHz, output level of digital modulated signal is lower 6dB than of simulative signal carrier wave.
