ASTM D893 Lubricating Oil Insolubles Tester

This instrument is designed and manufactured as per International Standard ASTM D893,Standard Test Method for Insolublesin Used Lubricating Oils.

It is suitable for the determination of pentane and toluene insolubles in used lubricating oils.A representative sample of usedlubricating oil is mixed with pentane and centrifuged. The oil solution is decanted and the precipitate washed twice with pentane, dried, and weighed to give the pentane insolubles.For toluene insolubles, a separate sample of the oil is mixed with pentane and then centrifuged.The precipitate iswashed twice with pentane, once with toluene-alcohol solution, and once with toluene. The insoluble material is then dried and weighed to give the insolubles.

1.It applies single chip microcomputer control system for temperature control and speed control.

2. User-friendly operational interface, simple and easy to operate.

3.It adopts the technology of frequency conversion and speed regulation, and  displays various parameters such as temperature, speed and centrifugal force in real-time.

4.The instrument is configured with a programmable operating program. The centrifuge time and RCF can be configured accordingly.
