OhmAlloy145
(Common Name:0Cr21Al6Nb,Kanthal A,Alloy 835)
OhmAlloy145 is a iron-chromium-aluminium alloy (FeCrAl alloy) characterized by high resistance, low coefficient of electric resistance, high operating temperature, good corrosion resistance under high temperature. It is suitable for use at temperatures up to 1250°C.
By comparing with nichrome alloys, fecral has a higher resistance and maximum operating temperature which is up to 1400 C. Fecral also has a cheap raw material and lower density. It will save budget. In addition, fecral has a higher surface load due to the higher maximum temperature and longer life. It also has a better resistance to sulphur in hot state.
Typical applications for OhmAlloy145 are used in industrial electric furnace, household electrical appliance and far infrared ray device.
