DESCRIPTION:ivermectin
Ivermectin belongs to the group of avermectins and acts against roundworms and parasites.
Indication of ivermectin:
Treatment and control of internal and external parasites of sheep and beef and non-lactating dairy cattle.
Ivermectin+Clorsulon injection is indicated for the effective treatment and control of the following parasites.
IN CATTLE: Gastrointestinal roundworms-Lung worms-Cattle grubs-Screw-worm fly larvae-Sucking lice -Mange mites. Hepatitis and hepatomegaly casude by adult of trematode.
IN SHEEP: Gastrointestinal roundworms-Lung worms-Sheep nose bot larve -Mange mites.
IN CAMEL: Gastrointestinal roundworms-Mange mites.
Ivermectin+Clorsulon should be administrated only by subcutaneous injection beneath the loose skin behind the shoulder.
Treatment of gastrointestinal roundworms, lice, lungworm infections, oestriasis and scabies in calves, cattle, goats, sheep and swine.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:ivermectin injection
For subcutaneous administration.
Calves, cattle, goats and sheep : 1 ml. per 50 kg. body weight.
Swine : 1 ml. per 33 kg. body weight.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:ivermectin injection
Administration to lactating animals.
SIDE EFFECTS:ivermectin injection
When ivermectin comes in contact with soil, it readily and tightly binds to the soil and becomes inactive over time.
Free ivermectin may adversely affect fish and some water born organisms on which they feed.
WITHDRAWAL TIMES:ivermectin liquid
- For meat
Calves, cattle, goats and sheep : 28 days.
Swine : 21 days.
WARNING:ivermectin liquid injection
Do not permit water runoff from feedlots to enter lakes, streams or ponds.
Do not contaminate water by direct application or the improper disposal of drug containers. Dispose of containers in an approved landfill or by incineration.
