DESCRIPTION:
Suspension for oral.
White suspension.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIONS:
Albendazole is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic. The principal mode of action for albendazole is by its inhibitory effect on tubulin polymerization which results in the loss of cytoplasmic microtubules.
TARGET SPECIE:
Cattle, horses, sheep, goats.
INDICATIONS:
Prophylaxis and treatment of worm infections in calves, cattle, goats and sheep like:   
Gastrointestinal worms : Bunostomum, Cooperia, Chabertia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus,Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia, Strongyloides and Trichostrongylus spp.   
Lung worms : Dictyocaulus viviparus and D. filaria.    
Tapeworms : Monieza spp.
Liver-fluke: adult Fasciola hepatica disease, and ascariasis, among others.    
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
For oral administration, the recommended dose below:
-Calves and cattle: Single dose of 10 mg/kg(equal to 1 ml per 10 kg body weight).
-Goats and sheep: Single dose of 7.5 mg/kg(equal to 0.75 ml per 10 kg body weight).
-Horses:
Dictyocaulus arnfieldi: 25 mg/kg(equal to 2.5 ml per 10 kg body weight) q12h for 5 days.
Strongylus vulgaris: 50 mg/kg(equal to 5 ml per 10 kg body weight) q12h for 2 days.
Shake well before use.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Administration in the first 45 days of gestation.
PRECAUTIONS:
Special precautions for use in animals:
Do not administer to female cattle during first 45 days of pregnancy or for 45 days after removal of bulls. Do not administer to ewes or does during the first 30 days of pregnancy or for 30 days after removal of rams or bucks.
Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the medicinal product to animals:
Wash hands after use.
SPECIAL WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS FOR EACH TARGET SPECIES:
Albendazole has a broad spectrum insecticide effect, its sensitive nematodes, tapeworms, flukes also has a strong effect on the schistosome invalid. Its mechanism of action is through the β- tubulin binding and nematodes, preventing it with α- tubulin multimerization composed of microtubules, thus affecting the nematode mitosis, the process of reproduction protein assembly and cellular energy in cells. This product is for adults only stronger, immature worms and larvae have a strong role, and kill eggs performance. Albendazole nematode tubulin affinity significantly higher mammalian tubulin, and therefore of low toxicity to mammals.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
Leukopenia and thrombocytopenia are possible in dogs and cats. Albendazole has an affinity for rapidly dividing cells and may cause toxicity to bone marrow and intestinal epithelium. High doses have been associated with bone marrow toxicity in dogs and cats, and it should be used cautiously in small animals. In other species, at approved doses , there is a wide margin of safety. Adverse effects can include anorexia, lethargy, and bone marrow toxicity.
DRUG INTERACTIONS:
Albendazole and praziquantel in combination can increase the blood concentration of the former.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Cattle withdrawal time: 27 days meat. Do not use in lactating dairy cattle.
Sheep withdrawal time: 7 days meat.
STORAGE:
Sealed and Store below 30ºC.Protect from light.

VALIDITY: 3 years.
Shelf life after opening: 28 days.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR DISPOSAL MEDICINAL PRODUCTS OR WASTE MATERIALS:
