Application 1: It is used as solvent and dewaxing agent of lubricating oil.
Application 2: It can be used as standard material, solvent and extractant for chromatographic analysis.
Application 3: 4-methyl-2-pentanone, also known as methyl isobutyl ketone, is the intermediate of rodenticide.
Application 4:Spices. Mainly used to make rum, cheese and fruit flavor.
Application 5:The product is an excellent medium boiling solvent. It can be used as mineral processing agent, solvent for oil dewaxing, color film coupler, solvent for tetracycline, pyrethroid and DDT, adhesive, rubber glue, aircraft and model coating. It is also an effective separating agent for some inorganic salts. It can separate plutonium from uranium, niobium from tantalum and zirconium from hafnium. Its peroxide is a very important initiator in polyester resin polymerization. It is also used in organic synthesis industry. It can also be used as anticoagulant and diluent of ethylene resin.
