The rails in China using thermite welding technology to make seamless connection is developed with the acceleration of railway. This new technology has been rapidly extended to the seamless welding of crane rails in various fields, such as mining, coking industry, goods yard ,port ,wharf and so on. It has solved the damage of the crane equipment, track, bed and girder for a long time.
SINCHOLD main products are iron III DE series, 50 DE, 60 DE, QU series QU-70 , QU-80, QU-100, QU-120, QU-150 and other various types thermite flux. The TWX-1 casting and flux can be used with matching sand type, crucible, tooling and fixture, etc. It can provide customers with various types of light rail, heavy rail, QU series of crane rails and imported thermite welding products. SINCHOLD III DE series thermite flux products by the test of quality inspection departments in accordance with TB/T1632.3-2005 standard.

Thermite Welding:
SINCHOLD thermite welding main working principle: by light flux, producing high temperature liquid metal steel in a short time, fusing with preheating rail end , after natural cooling to form a whole. The quality after welding meets the mechanical property of the thermal welding joint. We offer a full range of rail welding kits to suit all rail sections including Worn Rail Welding and Wide Gap Welding.(The quality indicators of thermite welding joint can be referenced to TB/T1632.3-2014 Standard)

Characteristics and Advantages of Thermite Welding:

The current of the welding point is equal to the wire.Welding points are permanent and will not cause high resistance due to loose or corrosion.Welding points are like copper, which is more tenacious than copper itself, and is not affected by corrosive products.Welding points can withstand repeated surges (failure) current without degradation.The welding operation method is simple and easy to handle.Portable and convenient to carry.When welding, no external power source or heat source is required.The quality of the welding can be checked from the outside.It can be used for welding copper, copper alloy, copper plated steel, various alloy steel including stainless steel and high resistance heating heat source material.Precautions for Thermite Welding Under Special Conditions:If the rail temperature below 15 ºC, should use the elding torch to heat around 1 meter each about 1-2 minutes (depending on the rail size), to 37 ºC.The temperature below 15 ºC, welding head should be coverd with a blanket or other warm things about 10 minutes.
