Coke Oven Gas(COG), due to the diversity of combustible components, it belongs to high calorific value gas, raw gas or crude gas. COG is the product of several types of bituminous coal compounded into coking coal, in the coke oven after high temperature dry distillation, in the output of coke and tar products at the same time produced by a flammable gas, is a by-product of the coking industry.Coke oven gas is a mixture, its main components are hydrogen (55%~60%) and methane (23%~27%), in addition to contain a small amount of carbon monoxide (5%~8%), C2 and above unsaturated hydrocarbons (2%~4%), carbon dioxide (1.5%~3%), oxygen (0.3%~0.8%)), nitrogen (3%~7%).Because of the high hydrogen content, coke oven gas needs to solve the problem of detonation and tempering when it is used in internal combustion generator set to generate electricity. knocking and backfire issues need to be solved while using for internal combustion genset power generation.CR Genset Introduction
ComeRiver Power coke oven gas generator set is aiming at the gas exploitation with high hydrogen content and high carbon monoxide content, the genset is fully optimized and designed based on the general genset. 1.Three-Section Modular Design
Genset adopts three-section modular design, including gas engine, turbocharging intercooler three modules and the design improved the genset maintenance operation;
Engine places at the middle, fewer auxiliary equipment on both sides, which is convenient for daily maintenance; the intake and exhaust are concentrated in the free end, which is convenient for the layout of the power station. The three modules are evenly distributed to make the mass distribution of the genset more uniform and easier to hoisting.
2.Shunt Intake technology
Due to biomass gas with characterizations of containing hydrogen and low methane value, the burning speed is fast, backfire and knock are likely to be caused, ComeRiver adopts shunt intake technology with a reliable structure, compared with the multi-point electric injection and mechanical injection, shunt intake technology has a simple and reliable control mechanism; the possibility of backfire occurring is being avoided completely.
3.Shunt Pressurization Technology
Adopting the shunt pressurization technology, the genset operation safety is high, the gas does not need other auxiliary pressurization equipment, it is not only saves energy consumption, but also the low pressure gas intake is realized.
