Forklift Diesel Engine Starter Motor:
Forklift diesel engine starter consists of three components: DC motor, transmission mechanism and control device. Function of the starter is as following:
1. DC series-excited motor. It is used to convert the electric energy input from the battery into mechanical energy and generate torque.
2. Transmission (meshing mechanism). Its function is to make the drive gear of the starter mesh with the flywheel ring gear when the engine starts, and transfer the torque of the motor to the flywheel of the engine; after the engine starts, the starter and the flywheel are automatically separated.
3. Control device is electromagnetic switch. Its role is to switch on or off the circuit between the motor and the battery.
