Heat Soak Tempered  Double Glazing Glass/ IGU / Insulating  Safety Glass With Certificate

Insulated glass is made of two or more pieces of glass with effective support and evenly spaced and sealed at the periphery to form a dry gas space between the glass interlayers. The interlayer of the insulated glass is initially dry air, and other gases with a lower thermal conductivity than air are currently used. The minimum thickness of the gas interlayer of the insulating glass should not be less than 6mm, otherwise it will not function as thermal insulation. However, the thickness should not be too large, if it is too large to make the insulated glass too thick. In order to standardize the production of the frame, the gaps of the insulated glass are currently divided into 6, 9, and 12, 15, 19,24and 27 mm.



Features of Insulating Glass:

1. Insulation:
Insulated glass is the use of gas interlayers with a large thermal resistance, especially the formation of an air interlayer that does not cause convection, so that the energy exchange between the indoor and outdoor is greatly reduced, and significant heat insulation effect can be obtained.
2. Heat preservation:
Insulation of insulated glass means reducing indoor heat through its outdoor area during the winter, and the smaller the thermal resistance, the better the thermal insulation performance. If the glass is coated with a low-emission film, the radiation emissivity can be reduced to 0.1, and in winter, the heat radiated from the room will be reduced to provide better insulation. If the two inner surfaces of the insulated glass are respectively coated with a sunshade film and a low-radiation film, the hot sun is blocked in summer; in winter, the heat in the room is prevented from being lost, In winter, the temperature in the room is prevented from being lost, and the indoor warm winter and cool summer is achieved.
3.Anti-condensation & Reducing Cold Radiation:
Inside the insulated glass, there is a desiccant that can absorb water molecules, and the gas is dry; when the temperature is lowered, condensation does not occur inside the insulated glass, and the dew point temperature of the outer surface of the glass also rises. This is the biggest difference between insulated glass and double glass.
4.Application field:
China Insulated glass is mainly used for exterior glass decoration: heating, air conditioning, noise blocking, condensation, and buildings that require no direct sunlight and special light sources. It is widely used in residential, hotel, hotel, office buildings, schools, hospitals, shops, etc. Not only that, but insulated glass can also be used for doors and windows on trains and cars, ships, freezer cabinets, etc. It is possible to reach the laboratory standard with vacuum double-layer tempered glass!
The unique structure of the insulated glass and the heat insulating effect of the hollow space layer effectively reduce the heat transfer coefficient and have excellent energy saving characteristics.

What is Heat Soak Test ?

Hot dip treatment is also called "homogeneous treatment", which is what we commonly call "detonation".  The hot-dip treatment is to heat the tempered glass to 290ºC±10ºC and keep it for a certain period of time, which can promote the nickel sulfide to quickly complete a transformation of the crystal phase in the tempered glass, and can make the tempered glass that may be self-detonated before use in advance.  Was artificially crushed in the hot dip furnace of the factory, which can reduce the self-explosion of tempered glass in use after installation.  This method is generally used as a heating medium in hot air, which is called "Heat Soak Test"  often, abbreviated as HST.
