They provide low cost and high performance weight measurement and are designed for the measurement of compression and tension loads. Some ideal applications of an S-beam load cell include automotive components, polymer strain testing and industrial food processing. These S-type load cells come in a variety of types including aluminium, steel and stainless steel with and without safety stops.

The LP7140 tension load cell offers a wide range of capacities, extending from 20kg to 10ton. Constructed from alloy steel and stainless steel with an electroless nickel-plated surface, it's a robust and reliable choice and an economical alternative to our popular LP7140 tension load cell.
