1. Water cooled screw glycol chiller applications
Brewery chillers are often glycol chillers. Good beer requires good process control. The ability to produce the same beer day-in and day-out is important in brewing. A brewery's most enthusiastic customers expect the same flavor that they have come to know and love, regardless of the batch that their beer comes from. Keeping those customers happy requires the excellent temperature control that can be achieved with a brewery chiller.
2. Eurostars water cooled screw glycol chiller main components
(1)Compressor
*Adopts Taiwan HANBELL brand semi-hermetic screw compressor or Germany BITZER. The latest 5:6 patented screw rotor profile with excellent efficiency.
*Adjustable infinite or closely stepped capacity control, features energy efficient, stable and quiet running.
*Most advanced patented highest precision manufacturing process.
*Built-in full intelligent monitoring and protection including thermal motor temperature monitoring, phase sequence monitoring, manual reset lock-out, oil temperature sensor.
*Wide range of refrigerant for option, including R134A, R407C and R22(R404A, R507C upon request).
(2)Evaporator and Condenser
*Shell and tube evaporator: the refrigerant flows through the tubes and the water flows around the tubes inside the shell section.
*Shell and tube condenser: the refrigerant is on the shell side, and the fluid is on the tube side, the fluid is generally fresh water, used with an open cooling tower. Shell and tube material can be customized design upon request.
(3)Control Box
*Adopt touch screen controller, clearly display each working situation and system circuit.
*Employ reliable and safe Schneider or Fuji electric relays, contactors, breaker and other components
(4)Expansion Valve
*Adopt superior quality famous exterior balanced thermal expansion valve, which is high reliability and adjustability, can realize precise refrigerant and temperature control to ensure operating in precise and reliable status.
(5)Economizer(Optional)
In order to meet the temperature demand of chillers in different industries, the single-stage screw compressor works in accordance with the two-stage refrigeration cycle, and achieves the effect of energy saving, an economizer can be added to the chiller unit.

7. How to size a glycol chiller for brewing?
These suggestions assume a decently insulated vessel (neoprene jacket or better) in a modest ambient temperature of 80F (27ºC). If your setup is uninsulated, or running in hotter ambient conditions you'll need to allow for more BTU/hr. The cold crash is figured for about 18hrs, if you want a faster crash you'll need to add more BTU/hr. When in doubt, use the suggestions for a vessel 1-2 sizes bigger than your actual size.
