Free Fall Lifeboat Launching Appliance Overview:

This device can make lifeboat freely launch into water in an emergency or under the circumstances of trim20° And list to 10° . Which meets the requirements of international marine safety of life at sea1974, rules of international life saving equipments(LSA) and IMO, MSC. 81(70) and other regulations.

The appliance has completely changed the traditional way of launching lifeboats with boat fall from both sides of the ship. Instead, the lifeboats free fall into water from the slide of the appliance deviating from the course of the mother-ship so that the ability of evacuating the ships in distress will increase.

Free-fall davit  is a special equipment for lowering and recovering free-fall lifeboat, it is usually deck mounted and install at the stern of the ship. A complete set of free-fall davit will include a launch ramp, bottom frame, hydraulic winch, Control panel of hydraulic system, Control box etc.
Free-fall davit safey working load cover from 55KN to 90KN, so as to fit with different size of free-fall lifeboat.
