1. Description of tapered roller bearing
Main Characteristics for Tapered Roller Bearings:
This kind of bearing is a separation-bearing, tapered raceway is on both the outer and inner ring, and rollers are round-table-shaped. Rollers and raceway are line contact, may bear a heavier load form both radial and axial, but also can bear axial loads only. When contact angle is bigger, the axial capacity is higher.
Tapered Roller should be designed to achieve internal and external roller Raceway and the contact line extension in the cross bearing the same point on the axis, in order to achieve pure rolling.
The new designed tapered roller bearing should be used fortified structure, increase the diameter of rollers, lengthen the roller, increase the rollers' number, and with a crown of the rollers, making the bearing's capacity and fatigue life improved significantly.
